Benjamin F. Moore LINDEN TX Benjamin Franklin Moore, 96, of Atlanta, passed away at his home on Wednesday, February 6, 2013. He was born September 17, 1916 in Shamrock, Texas to Elias Denton and Minnie Lee Guyton Moore. He was employed with DuPont for 33 years as Senior Operator in the powerhouse. Preceding him in death are his parents; his wife of 71 years, Earline Conner Moore; a brother, James Moore; and sister, Daphene Pearson Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Benny and Judy Moore of Atlanta, and Larry and Sandy Moore of Deweyville, Texas; one daughter and son-in-law, Pat and Jearald Brown of Deweyville; a sister, Virginia Gilmore of Smithville, Texas; sister-in-law, Ardis Moore of Huntington Beach, California; special friends, Larry and Julia Ann Williams; 10 grandchildren; 27 great grandchildren; five great-great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and a host of friends. Funeral services will be at 2:00pm, Sunday, February 10, 2013 at Bethlehem Baptist Church in Red Hill with Bro. Keith Tefteller and Bro. Neil Adams officiating. Interment will be in Bethlehem Cemetery under the direction of Reeder-Davis-Schindler Funeral Home in Linden. The family will receive friends from 5 to 8pm Saturday at the funeral home.
