Jerry Sharp

Service for Bro. Jerry Sharp, 64, of Linden will be Tuesday, February 27, 2007 at 11:00 A.M. at the Bear Creek Baptist Church, near Linden, with Bro. Dale Carter and Bro. J.W. Crow officiating. Burial will be in the Bear Creek Cemetery under the direction of Reeder-Davis-Schindler Funeral Home. Bro. Sharp passed away Saturday, February 25, 2006 in the Linden Hospital. He was born January 23, 1943 in McAllester, OK. He had worked for the Texas Department of Transportation for 43 years and was the Pastor of Grace and Truth Baptist Church in Lasister, TX. He is survived by his wife, Lynette Sharp of Linden, one daughter and son-in-law, Paula and Jimmy Watson of Linden, one son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Gwen Sharp of Jefferson, two sisters, Linda Stephens of Linden and Cheryl Rogers of Amarillo. Also four grandchildren, Brandon Watson, Lisa Watson, Jerrod Sharp and Kendall Sharp and one great grandchild, Caleb Taylor. Also survived by his mother-in law, Juanita Surratt of Linden. Bro. Sharp was preceded in death by his parents, J. P. and Cordia Mae Sharp and one sister, Ethel Henderson. Visitation will be from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Monday at the funeral home.
