Graveside services for Charles Edward Goins, 74, of Hughes Springs will be 2:00 p.m., Saturday, October 21, 2006 at Sardis Cemetery, Hughes Springs, with Chaplain Lloyd Billups officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home, Inc. Mr. Goins died Wednesday, October 18, 2006 at his residence. He was born September 2, 1932 in Star City, Arkansas. He was a welding inspector and served in the US Navy during Korea. He was a lifetime member of Veteran’s of Foreign War. He is survived by his wife, Margaret Goins of Hughes Springs, his son, Bill Goins of Mt. Pleasant; three daughters and sons-in-law, Julie and Joe Hayes of Dardanelle, AR, Pam and Eugene Hill of Rogers, AR, and Tammy Sue and Cary Cleveland of Cleveland, TX; eight grandchildren, Leslie Goins, Tyler Stark, Wesley Marcus, Amylia Marcus, Brandon Childress, Kevin Wayne Kirkland II, William Joseph Kirkland, and Jason Harold Kirkland; three great grandchildren, Kennedy Marcus, Madison Marcus, and Kevin Wayne Kirkland III; and one sister, Marnett Cater of California.
