Augusta Traylor

Mr. Augusta Traylor was born April 13, 1925 in Morris county to the parentage of Cancer and Jessie Roney Traylor. He attended the Rosenwall Public School and was affiliated with the Shady Grove Baptist Church. He was married to Savannah Bennett on April 20, 1946; to this union seven children were born. One son Louis “BB” Traylor preceded him in death. Augusta is survived by a loving daughter Mary Ellen Wilson of Cason; five sons, Samuel Traylor of Dallas and wife Martha; Tom C. Traylor, Augusta Traylor, Jr, of Cason, Calvin Joe Traylor and wife Jeanette of Marietta; seven grandchildren, Tina Bonds of Alabama, Tabitha Barnes of Virginia, Morris Anthony Wilson of Cason, Alton Traylor of Mt. Pleasant, Aaron Wilson of Cason, Regional Traylor of Dallas and Latreshia Traylor of Jefferson; 17 great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his loving wife Savannah; brothers, C.T., Bunion, Herbert, Velma, and O.C.; sisters, Nelcine Smith and Christine Lawton.
