He is survived by his wife, Dianne Wenzel of Linden; daughter and son-in-law, Debbie and Donald Rhyne of Linden; three sons and two daughters-in-law, David Wenzel of Ore City, Danny and Tonya Wenzel of Linden, and Dwayne and Merry Wenzel of Vivian, LA; sister, Betty Thomas of Brazoria, TX, brother, James Walker of Houston; nine grandchildren, Jeremy Rhyne, Justin Rhyne, Josh Wenzel, Joni Wilson, Scott Wenzel, Anglique Wenzel, Sophie Wenzel, Megan Wenzel, and Cody Wenzel; and one great grandchild; Kyliegh Wilson.

I have known his staff for a long time and they also helped lighten our sorrow by their outpouring of love and compassion.
