Royce Wayne Fitts, Sr., 79, of Linden, Texas went to be with his Lord and Savior Wednesday, September 30, 2020. Mr. Fitts was born September 14, 1941 in Carterville, Texas to O.A. and Myrtle Fitts. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, five brothers, and two sisters.

Survivors include his wife of fifty-one years, Jerry Shirley Fitts; son, Royce Wayne Fitts, Jr.; son, daughter-in-law, and grandson, Bryan, Melissa, and Aaron Fitts; brother and sister-in-law, Billy and Freida Fitts; sister-in-law, Phyllis Fitts; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Ed and Sherri Shirley; sister-in-law, Ann Campbell; and a number of other loved relatives.

A graveside service for all family and friends will be held at 10:00 AM, Saturday, October 3, 2020 at the Linden Cemetery with Wallace Watkins officiating and under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home in Linden. A brief visitation at the cemetery will be held at the conclusion of the graveside service.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the youth fund at First Baptist Church, Linden, Texas.  The family would like to express a special thank you to all the staff at Golden Villa Skilled Nursing and Rehab for the outstanding care they provided.
