Bobbie Faye Traylor White

Bobbie Faye Traylor White (Phox) entered the world as a blessing one beautiful Tuesday morning. July 25, 1939 in Daingerfield, Texas to the loving parents of Mr. Mack and Emma Traylor. She passed away peacefully from this life in her heavenly on July 9, 2022 in her home in Cason, Texas with her loved ones at her bedside.
On June 28, 1979, she married Mr. Archie White of Cason, Texas. To this union one devoted child was born, Roderick White.
She was once employed at the Daingerfield Motel, Pilgrim Pride, Day and Zimmerman and provided home health care for her mother whom she loved dearly.
On December 20, 1991 she would meet the love of her life and life long partner to the end, Mr. Roy “Earl” Phox, whom she loved, trusted and who took care of her wants and needs until she was called home by our Lord.
She loved her Lord and Savior and loved and adored spending time with her family. She was a wonderful example of what it meant to be a great mother, sister, and aunt to her nieces and nephews, always expressing concern for others, even when her own health was failing. She was a lady of fashion for all that knew her. She had an attractive way of entering a room elegantly dressed with her dazzling style and pizzaz, as those that were captivated by her glamor would admire her beautiful attire. She was a light to all and will be greatly missed.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. Mack and Emma Traylor; her late husband, Archie White; brother, Terry Traylor; sisters, Annie Bell Traylor, Dorothy Marie Russell, and Delores Lafayette; nephews, Cedric “Papa” Baker, Charlie Baker, Lee Oscar; nieces, Carrie “Popcorn” Wells and Lesia Douglas.
She leaves to cherish her legacy, her loving and devoted son, Roderick White; life partner, Roy “Earl” Phox; sister, Minister Ruth baker; brother, Charles “Son” Traylor (Marla); sister-in-law, Claudia Jane Traylor; special friends, Evelyn “Jenny” Gholston and Queen Evans. She also leaves her children from heart: special daughter, Judy Hines; bonus daughter, Calendra Price, ShaShan Epps, Jovan “Less” McDaniel, Rhonda “Cookie” Douglass, and Cassandra “Loriane” Howard; her special, baby girl, LaShondra Green; sons, Larry Epps, Allen Green, and Anthony “Beaver” Douglass; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family, and friends.
Funeral services for Bobbie Faye Traylor White, 82, of Cason will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, July 23, 2022 at Shady Grove Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Shady Grove Cemetery, under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home in Hughes Springs. Ms. White will lie in state from 12:00 noon until 7:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
