LINDEN Funeral services for Addie M. Walker, 72, of Jefferson will be at 2:30 PM, Friday, August 14, 2009, in the chapel of Reeder-Davis-Schindler Funeral Home, Inc., in Linden with Bro. Taylor Duncan officiating. Burial will be in Shiloh Cemetery. A visitation will be from 6 to 8 PM, Thursday, at the funeral home. Mrs Walker was born July 20, 1937, to Charles L. and Mattie Joyce Henderson. She passed away, Tuesday, August 11, 2009 in Texarkana. She was retired cafeteria worker for Linden-Kildare CISD and was a member of Lanier Friendship Baptist Church in Linden. Survivors include her husband, Charlie Malcolm Walker of Jefferson; a son, Joe Allen and wife, Becky Walker of Queen City; a daughter, Charlene and husband Aubrey Doyal of McLeod; a sister, Wilma Gene Walker of Jefferson; four grandchildren, five great-grandchildren; special sisters-in law, Virginia Alfia and Barbara Hampton both of Jefferson; and numerous nieces, nephews and other family members. She was preceded in death by two grandchildren, Joshua Walker and Dana Pierce; one great-granddaughter, Bree Nicole Pierce and a sister, Jeanette Counts.
