I can’t express with mere words how closely I held Alice to my heart. She was a student, a great Mom, and a long time friend. She will be sorely missed by a great many friends, as well as to her family. She will live on in my heart with a crowd of others who have loved her dearly.
Prayers for her family. So sorry for your loss.??????
Dear friend…more like a sister! I’m so grateful for the moments we’ve shared…the memories we’ve made in the near-50 years of knowing one another! Girl, what a ride!!! Though I wish it would’ve been a longer one, I’m thankful for the time we’ve had… especially last week. We laughed, cried and celebrated the gift of friendship! Save me a seat! #eternityhasnoexpirationdate
Prayers for this family. I knew her son for many years before I had the pleasure of meeting her through my employer. Such a kind soul.
A world without Alice in it is an impoverished place. She made us glad.

This is not goodby but until I see you again.
To my BFF, from our first meeting at 2 yrs old in the nursery at church to the minutes up until your last breath, you will always be my kindred spirit, my 3rd sister, my "retail therapy partner", the bass to my treble cleft, but always my best friend forever & ever. I know you are now rejoicing in sweet Jim’s arms & I know he greeted you with a smile the size of Texas & your favorite red gladioli in his arms because you always said, "he’s the best thing that ever happened to me". Be sure & give my Momma a big hug for me. Love from your BFF, "Thelma"/Marilynn

God welcomed a beautiful caring angel into his arms last Saturday. I grew up with Alice, her brothers & her daddy & mother. She reminded me so much of her mother with whom I had great respect. Donnie always had a smile on her face and so did Alice. Welcome to your heavenly home and celebrate.
Can’t believe I won’t see that sweet smile in this life again, but I look forward to it in the next. Prayers for all the family.

Blessings to all who grieve Alice’s passing. We think we have time to say goodbye, but we don’t always. I think Alice would have us all to love and encourage one another and to share laughter and pain just the way she set the example for us all as she modeled Christ before us. We will miss her and treasure our memories of her.
