Funeral services for Alice Nell Patman, 89, of Hughes Springs will be Saturday, February 12, 2011 at 2 PM at Reeder-Davis Chapel in Hughes Springs with Rev. Ron Dyess officiating. Interment will be at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Hughes Springs under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home, Inc. Mrs. Patman was born on May 5, 1921 in Hughes Springs to Harry and Nellie Myrtle Cloninger Pynson and passed away on Tuesday, February 8, 2011 in Hughes Springs. Mrs. Patman attended Turkey Creek Baptist Church where she was a church pianist for years. Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law Melba and Gary Britt of Hughes Springs, TX and Mary Franklin and Phillip Parker of Highland Village, TX; one grandson and his spouse Ryan and Aimee Fletcher of Lewisville, TX; one granddaughter Michelle Franklin of Highland Village, TX; three great grandchildren Thomas Franklin, Emma Bell and Madyson Fletcher. She was preceded in death in the early 60s by her husband H.B. Patman, Jr., her parents and two brothers Roy Lynn Blue Pynson and Lee Ben Pynson. Mrs. Patman will lie in state on Friday, February 11th and the family will receive friends from 6-8 PM at the funeral home in Hughes Springs.
