A longtime and devoted member of New Prospect Baptist Church, Ann lived her life guided by her deep Christian faith. Known for her warmth and kindness, Ann was a loving wife, a wonderful mother and grandmother, and a cherished friend. She also had a special gift in the kitchen, and those who gathered around her table were blessed by her delicious cooking and even more by her generous spirit.
Ann was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Royce Stewart; her mother, Cornelia Kennon; her father, Walter Barham Kennon; and her brother and sister-in-law, Herbert and Jane Kennon.
She is lovingly survived by her son, Dave Stewart of Plano; her daughter, Joyce Greer of Nacogdoches; her daughter-in-law, Donna Stewart; her grandchildren, Joel Stewart and his wife, Cara, and Laura Stewart Ridnour and her husband, Stuart. She was a proud great-grandmother to David, Hadley, Samuel, Noah, and Nora. Ann is also survived by her brother and sister-in-law, William and Virginia Kennon, along with a host of extended family members and dear friends who will miss her dearly.
