Services for Annie Taylor, 108, of Jefferson will be 1:00 p.m., Sunday, January 28, 2007 at Jefferson Community Center, Jefferson, TX with Rev. Melvin Handcock officiating. Burial will follow at Webb Cemetery, Jefferson under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home, Inc. Mrs. Taylor died Saturday, January 20, 2007 at a Jefferson nursing center. She was born February 6, 1898 in Marion County to the parentage of the late Mose Harris and Laura Hatton Harris. Annie received her schooling at Rocky Spring School in Marion County. Annie was a faithful member of Rocky Spring Methodist Church and attended faithfully until her health failed her. In 1914 she married Alf Taylor. Twelve children were born to them. She was a housewife and a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband, eight children, both parents, three sisters, five brothers, eight grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild. She leaves to cherish her memory: four daughters, Mary Magaline Warren of Fort Worth, Alma Ree Ward of Mims, Altha Jewel McDowell of Linden, Ross Pearl Montgomery of Lone Star; Francine Spraglin, a special granddaughter that she raised, 27 grandchildren, 61 great-grandchildren, three great-great-great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. Viewing and visitation will be Saturday afternoon and evening at the funeral home.
