Services for Barbara Sue Carter, 66, will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, December 2, 2021 at Reeder-Davis Chapel with Darrell Venable Rhyne officiating. Burial will follow at Linden Cemetery under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home in Linden. There will be a time of visitation from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Barbara Sue Carter was born January 20, 1955 to William Bryce and Treby Lee (Hymer) Carter. She passed away November 29, 2021. Barbara was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt. She was a fun and creative christian lady who loved to sing. She was a natural caregiver who worked as an LVN. Barbara was a friend to all.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William Bryce Carter and Treby Lee Carter; siblings, Bryce Elvin Carter, Clarice Moody, Kathryn Paddy, Patrick Wayne Carter, Billie Jean Morgan, Clyde Buford Bolding; and niece, Donna M. Rhyne.
She leaves behind: one daughter, Treby Christina Carter; grandchildren, Timothy Bryce Bowman, Harley Ray Hood, Katherin Faith Marie Warrick and husband, Dalton; grandchildren, David Michael Bowman, Alex Kane Bowman, and Maddox James Warrick; sister, Martha Ann Clifton; brother, Marvin Michael Carter; nieces and nephews, Priscilla and Todd Gonzales, Carla Alexander, Darrell Venable Rhyne and husband, Jeff, Ronald E. Rhyne, Charlene Holmes, Cecelia Raines, L.R. Moody, Connie Cutsinger, Stephen Paddy, Michael Paul Carter, Brittany Haley, Lacey Carter; and a host of great and great-great nieces and nephews.
Barbara's parting words were always, "I LOVE YOU MORE!"
Darrell so sorry for your loss. I know how much you loved your Aunt Barbara. She was such a sweet and caring person. Your in my thoughts and prayers always…Love you
