Services for Ms. Belinda Johnson, 39, of Sulphur Springs, and formerly of Jefferson, will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, August 13, 2016 at Reeder-Davis Chapel. Burial will follow, under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home in Hughes Springs. Ms. Johnson will lie in state Friday at the funeral home from 10:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m.
Belinda (Be) Antoinette Johnson was born on September 24, 1976 in Ft. Gordon, GA to Linda Faye Brown and the deceased Robert Lee Johnson.
She passed from this life on August 3, 2016 in Sulphur Springs, TX. She was studying to be a nurse at Paris Jr. College in Sulphur Springs.
She was preceded in death by grandmothers, Elizabeth Brown and Ruby Johnson Getum of Jefferson; grandfather, Charley Robert of Jefferson; great-grandparents, Katherine and Will Brown of Jefferson, Gracie and Lee Denmark Sr. of Avinger; and a host of aunts, uncles and other relatives to be acknowledged.
Belinda leaves to cherish her memory, her mother, Linda Faye Johnson and her dad, Perry Williams Jr. (her rock); two children, NKaiya Taiese (Kia) Johnson, age 11, and DeKevian DeShawn (Kevi) Smith, age 9, of Sulphur Springs; grandfather, Robert T. Brown of Jefferson; four brothers, Robert Lekendrick (Shay) Johnson of Plano, Fred Johnson of Jefferson, Cecil Johnson and Sam Settles of Dallas; and a host of uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews, and special friends who are not forgotten.
