Funeral services for Betty Ann Sikes, 64, of Lone Star, will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church in Ore City with the Rev. Curtis Epnett officiating. Burial will follow in Clark Cemetery under direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home, Inc. of Hughes Springs. Mrs. Sikes will lie in state Friday afternoon and evening and the family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Mrs. Sikes died June 29 at a Hughes Springs nursing home. She was born July 9, 1946 in Paris, Texas. She was a member of Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church in Ore City. She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law Chris and Jackie Sikes of Daingerfield; one daughter and son-in-law Sandra and William Whitt of Texarkana, Arkansas; two brothers and a sister-in-law Doug and Mary White of Blossom and Charles White of Natchitoches, La.; one sister and brother-in-law Martha and Ted Ostrewich of Powderly; 10 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband C.B. Sikes Sr., one son Benson Sikes, Jr.; two brothers James White and Donald White.
