Funeral services for Billy Roy Skelton of Linden, Texas, will be at 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, January 5, 2010 at the Linden United Methodist Church with Bro. Dick White officiating. Burial will follow in the Linden Cemetery under the direction of Reeder-Davis-Schindler Funeral Home, Inc. in Linden. A visitation will be from 5-7 P.M. Monday at the funeral home. Mr. Skelton passed away January 3, 2010 in the Linden Hospital. He was born April 26, 1924 in Linden to Lone O. and Lena Bell Kasling Skelton. He was a rancher, veteran of World War II and a member of Linden United Methodist Church. Survivors include his wife, Barbara Skelton of Linden; one daughter Michelle Skelton of Linden; brother and sister-in-law, James and Margaret Skelton of Alto, NM; three grandchildren, Tara Stone Simon of Kansas City, MO., Micha Stone of Denver, CO. and Micheal E. Stone of Crosby, Texas; two nephews, Jeffery Skelton of Copperas Cove and Peter Skelton of Las Vegas, NM.; brother-in-law, Jimmy F. Thompson of Atlanta, Texas.
