Services for Jeanette "BJ" Fox, 62, of Avinger, will be 10 a.m. Saturday, October 29, 2016 at Eagle Creek Cemetery under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home in Ore City. There will be a time of visitation from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Friday evening at the funeral home.

Ms. Fox was born February 24, 1954 and passed away October 25, 2016. She was preceded in death by her husband, Kirk Fox; parents, Gladys and Walter Roberson; and great granddaughter, Audrey Saldierna.

Jeanette is survived by her children, James Allen and wife, Renee, and Letisha Allen; grandchildren Brittney Saldierna and husband, Adan, T.J. Allen, Corey Allen, Eric Brown and wife, Ashley, Lindsey Brown, Christin Brown, Laila Allen, and Caden Allen; sisters, Maybell Slone, and Dolly Carlile; seven great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Dear Fox family,At this most difficult time please accept my condolence and deep regrets for your loss for this pain and grief that this enemy death brings always is not what our loving creator Jehovah God intended for us to go through and he's provided comfort and hope in his word the Bible that still helps me today because this enemy death took my entire family and this is at John5:28,29 for there it states that we'll see our love ones again when Jesus brings them back in the resurrection here on earth and ICorinthians15:26 states that this enemy death will be brought to nothing. Also jw.org(search:comfort) helped me go cope with my loss because now I know I'll see my family again. I wanted to share this with you at this difficult time when comfort and hope is needed in hopes it will help you also in some way because this is my purpose in sharing this with you and please feel free to let know if it did or not at gloriamosley@hotmail.com and please know I do share your grief and hope to hear from you.Sincerely, GM

    Years ago my parents made the decision that when their time came they wanted Reeder Davis to handle their burial services, So as hard as it is to lose your parents their time to go did come and when it did, We relied on Reeder Davis to help our family through the arrangements that needed to be made and all I can say is their commitment, compassion and their understanding made such a difficult process much easier. Our funeral director Amy, from our first meeting to our last was so kind, She shared in our laughter of funny memories and she shared in our tears seeing our grief. My sister suddenly passed away a month after my dad and again, Kris and Amy were there to help us and we were so grateful. Chris is so caring and thoughtful and was able to help me make it through the entire process of caring for Keith and my family until the final burial. He made the journey of death so much easier by his respect for our needs and his compassion for our pain and sorrow. I have known his staff for a long time and they also helped lighten our sorrow by their outpouring of love and compassion.
