Bobby C. Rogers was born November 19, 1952, in Greenville, Texas. He passed away May 16, 2026, at his home in Ore City, Texas with his wife and daughter by his side.
Bobby was a shy man until you got to know him, and those closest to him knew he had a quick wit and quiet sense of humor. He enjoyed several hobbies throughout his life, especially raising homing pigeons and German Shepherd dogs. He quietly lived out his faith as a member of Walnut Creek Baptist Church.
More than anything, Bobby loved spending time with his wife and daughter. He was a loving husband and father who made many sacrifices for his family throughout the years. Though quiet by nature, he could be incredibly kind and compassionate when someone needed him most.
Bobby worked for many years as a computer systems analyst and also served for a time in the National Guard.
He was preceded in death by his father, G.C. Rogers; his mother, Laurene Rogers Smith; and his sister, Betty Sutterfield.
Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Patricia Rogers; his daughter, Aimee Rogers and fiancé Rick Dowden; his sister, Brenda Gossett and husband Dale; along with a number of extended family members, friends, and church family.
