Bobby Glynn Tigert Jan. 5 1950---Aug. 9, 2010 On Monday, August 9, Bobby Glynn Tigert went to his Heavenly home. Jesus, in his perfect timing, welcomed him with open arms. In his life time, he fought diabetes, heart disease, and finally a battle with lung and brain cancer. He was blessed to be able to remain at home with the care of his wife, children, neighbors, friends, many family members, and Life Care Hospice. Bobby served our country in the United States Air Force and was an employee of Lone Star Steel for 42 years. He was a member of the local Union 4134. He was a member of Concord Missionary Baptist Church. Funeral Arrangements are with Reeder Davis Funeral Home, Hughes Springs, Texas. Visitation will be Wednesday 7:00-9:00 P.M at Reeder Davis Funeral Home. Services will be conducted by Bro. Richey Nolan and Bro. Scott Darby on Thursday August 12 at 6:00 p.m. at Concord Missionary Baptist Church, 260 CR 3306, Omaha, Texas and burial at Sunset in Concord Cemetery. He was preceded in death by his mother and father, Joe and Thelma Tigert, sister, Dorothy Nell Bisang and father in law, Jack Dudley, grandson, Josh Smith. He leaves behind, wife Barbara Gayle Tigert of Daingerfield, daughter, Bealinda and Kenneth Krum of Longview, son Glynn and Becky Tigert of Daingerfield, daughters, Sondra and Rod Smith of Petrolia, Texas, Shelly and Ken Beadle of Mount Pleasant, Texas, and Shannon and Brandon Strickland of Daingerfield.. Four sisters, Frankie and Jim Berry of Naples, Wilma Jo and John Paul Vissering of Naples, Katherine and Charles Hicks of El Paso, Texas and Mary Jane Hoskins of Rocky Branch. One brother Jerry Ray and Paula Tigert of Katy, Texas. Mother in law Syble Dudley, brother in law Ted Dudley of Hughes Springs, brother in law Jimmy Bisang of Wink, Texas, sister in law Debbie and Luther Westmoreland of Hughes Springs, seven grandchildren, several nieces , nephews and cousins, a loving church family and a host of family and friends. In lieu of flowers; consider The American Heart Association, American Diabetes Association, American Cancer Society and Life Care Hospice of Longview.

I will remember always the sweet, strong man who ruled the street when I was a little girl. He was always so good to my grandmother and our whole family. He will surely be missed. My thoughts and prayers are with all of your family in this sad time.

Sorry to hear such a great man has gone to be with the Lord, he always had a smile on his face when he would come and get a haircut even when he was very sick.. He will be missed at Lindley's Haircuts in Daingerfield..
Hey DadIt has been a week since u have passed. Seems like yesturday u were on the tractor! Little man is still looking for you~He just aint quite old enough to understand just yet, I promise you he will always know who you were~ I love and miss you greatly!
We lost a giant of a man when we lost my friend Bobby. i never knew anyone like him and I certainly wish that I did. He was a man of honor and love. I miss you man.
Bobby and Barbara Tigert, are great friends of our great grandma, Ms.Hall, she will never find anybody so much more loving and caring to her. Ya'll are the best neighbors that she has had the 45 years she has lived here. We love ya'll dearly and are praying for you Ms.Tigert!
