  25. My dear Benda, I didn't get to say goodbye to you, so I am writing here. Words can't express the pain of the hole left in my heart. I received your voicemail the day before the accident, and had an awful feeling that something was going to happen. I was planning on calling you Tuesday night. The accident was Tuesday morning. I still can't believe you're gone. That you won't be there this Christmas eve. I know you wouldn't want me to be sad, but I am. I wish I could hug you and tell you I love you. I wish I had called you sooner. I couldn't come to the funeral because I live so far away, but I mourned in my own way. I try to be positive, and think of the good times we had together. Every time I see Mary Poppins, make a pb&j, see a goat, or hear a sweet southern lady, I think of you. Your heart was so big, and your sense of humor contagious. Thank you for raising me and my brother as well as you did. I always had a vision of you sitting next to Mom at my wedding someday. Though you won't be there, I'm already planning a tribute to you. I love you so much, and I miss you so deeply. Please say hi to Nick Honey, GG, Daddy Les, Gogie, Jerry and Debra and Coleman for me. I know you're all up there together. Someday, a long time from now, when I'm an old lady too, I will see you again. Until then, you live in my heart every moment. I love you, Kakey Mazey.
