Brenda Joyce Knepp, 48, of Linden, passed away Saturday, December 20, 2008, at her residence. Services will be at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, December 23, 2008, at the Pinecrest Baptist Church in Linden with Bro. Bryan Baggett officiating. Burial will be in Union Hill Cemetery under the direction of Reeder-Davis-Schindler Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 6 to 8:00 P.M. on Monday, December 22, 2008 at the funeral home. Mrs. Knepp was born May 22, 1960 in Atlanta, Texas to W.J. and Billye Joyce Whittington Powell. She was a school teacher, having taught in Linden-Kildare CISD and Trinity Christian School, Texarkana, Arkansas. She was a member of Pinecrest Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband, Tim Knepp of Linden, 2 children, Kelli Knepp and Andy Knepp of Linden and her mother, Billye Joyce Powell of Linden. She was preceded in death by her father, W.J. Powell.

  7. Brenda was a wonderful friend while we were at East Texas Baptist College. I am so sorry to hear about her passing and wished I would have known about her sickness so that I could have gone to see her. God has taken his angel. May God bring comfort to Tim, and her kids.
