Easy to deal with even in the hardest of times
A very well kept establishment as well as very kind people. They make you feel welcome, cared for, and like you have a family outside of family.
The staff here becomes family. They are incredibly supportive and make sure everything is perfect! There is no better place!
When my 52 year old younger sister passed away we couldn't have fathomed the grief her 15 year old would be going through. She wanted to be involved in her mom's service planning Reeder-Davis employees were very patient and listened to her every wish. For that I am most grateful. Thank you for the services you provide our small community...we are blessed to have you as part of our town.
The best in the area!
Friendly and patient. Very professional & the expenses were reasonable. I recommend their services.

Very kind and compassionate people.
Years ago my parents made the decision that when their time came they wanted Reeder Davis to handle their burial services, So as hard as it is to lose your parents their time to go did come and when it did, We relied on Reeder Davis to help our family through the arrangements that needed to be made and all I can say is their commitment, compassion and their understanding made such a difficult process much easier. Our funeral director Amy, from our first meeting to our last was so kind, She shared in our laughter of funny memories and she shared in our tears seeing our grief. My sister suddenly passed away a month after my dad and again, Kris and Amy were there to help us and we were so grateful. Kris, Thank you for the care you gave to us and for being so kind and thoughtful. I will never forget everything that all of you did for my family .
Reeder handled my father in laws services and did it with so much compassion. We were at a loss with what to do first and Amy was amazing at guiding us. They treated us just like family and we will always be grateful for that.
For such as sad occasion we could not have asked for any better. The facilities were great, the staff very caring. Everyone did everything possible to make this the best experience possible. Even the slideshow had a personal touch that was initiated by the staff. I am so very grateful for the care and services we received.

Kind, caring folks that truly understand the grief you bear, and help you move forward in what is a difficult situation that we all have or will experience.
They took excellent care of both my mother and father. My wife and I have already prearranged our funerals with them. They are the best.

From the time they picked up my wife from the hospital and then through the entire process and even today, they have remained friendly, courteous, and most helpful with all our needs. Working with our insurance, planning the service, providing helpful suggestions, and taking care of tiny details we had not thought Reeder-Davis Funeral Home was wonderful, and Mary was so professional, one of the best. Their care made our loss a little easier to bear. Thank you so much, James Bynum & Family
I just want to thank the staff at Reeder Davis for handling my mothersβs final arrangements beautifully. Kris was extremely compassionate and helpful throughout this untimely and unexpected event. Everything was flawless and exactly how my mother would have wanted her final wishes carried out. Planning a funeral is never easy but it definitely helps when your loved one is in the care of caring and professional hands. Thank you π Shawna
I have seen personally, the Reeder Davis Family treats your loved ones with as much love and respect as you would. What more could we ask? Thank you RD for your devotion to making the worst days easier.

These people are the greatest. They have always made me feel like family. Thank y'all for being so wonderful. God bless y'all
I have never had a bad experience at RD, from making programs for our church or giving advice in whatever way they can.
The McKinney, The McCain, & The Hill Families would like to sincerely thank the staff at Reeder Davis in Hughes Springs for the excellent services they provided to us in the death of our Mama, Dorothy McKinney. Mary went above & beyond in helping us to prepare our Mama for visitation. Amy helped us in each & every need that we had. You could not ask for a kinder man at the cemetery than Wayne. To each person that helped, we appreciate ALL that you did... Thank you, again!
It has the most comfortable feel about it. Everyone treats you like you are family and have so much compassion and empathy . I love Amy & Kris and all of the others also.
Reeder-Davis Funeral Home, Inc. in Linden and Chris were there for me and my family when Keith passed away. Chris is so caring and thoughtful and was able to help me make it through the entire process of caring for Keith and my family until the final burial. He made the journey of death so much easier by his respect for our needs and his compassion for our pain and sorrow. I have known his staff for a long time and they also helped lighten our sorrow by their outpouring of love and compassion. Reeder-Davis also took care of my precious mom when she passed away three years after Keith. I still hug Chris and thank him whenever I can for helping me through losing loved ones.

Life is but a Stopping PlaceLife is but a stopping place,A pause in what's to be,A resting place along the road,to sweet eternity. We all have different journeys,Different paths along the way,We all were meant to learn some things, but never meant to stay…Our destination is a place,Far greater than we know. For some the journey's quicker,For some the journey's slow. And when the journey finally ends,We'll claim a great reward,And find an everlasting peace,Together with the lordAuthor unknown
I enjoyed the years we got to work together at Austin Middle School. I will always remember Brenda as a highly professional teacher and coach – dedicated to her work but always had time to be nice to others.
Brenda was one of the first to welcome me to Austin Middle School. I feel blessed to have known and worked with her. She is missed. Prayers for her and her family.
It was a pleasure working with Coach Speights. She was a hard-working individual that I respected in this short amount of time. She'll be missed.
I pray the peace of God that passes all understanding over your hearts and minds. I worked with her for many years @ Austin M.S. and she is the aunt of two of my cousins, Ashley Speights and Tyesha Speights.
To the entire Pepprs and Speights families, our hearts are with you as you go through this time of pain and sorrow. Just know that
God sits high and looks low… Brenda was the epitome of what an educator was all about. Educaion was her ministry as she touched thousands of lives by imparting knowledge and values to her students and co-workersl. Your light will forever shne through the lives of others. God blessed me to have you in my life…and for that I am thankful. To the family, you have my prayers and condolences during your time of bereavement. May God continue to bless and keep you.

I am deeply saddened by the news of the passing of Brenda. I have not seen Brenda in many years but remember the wonderful and fun visits I had with her and her family, upon my arrival from California visiting with my sister Laverne. It is gratifying to know that Brenda had a wonderful and fulfilling life as a wife, teacher and coach. God bless her husband Alfred, father H.C., brother Billy and all of her/our family who can find comfort in knowing another Angel will be watching over them.R.I.P. Brenda! We love you but God loves you more!!!
My daughter is a confident and successful young womam because of Coach Speights. When Brenda coached at Vincent Middle School, Annie had just transferred to public school. Private school had not been a good experience for her. Brenda saw leadership qualities in her and offered a tough but nurturing athletic environment for her. When Annie made her wedding list three years ago, her number one invitee was Coach Speights because even at 27 years old, Annie still respected and appreciated her. Coach touched the lives of hundreds of young women during her career. My husband and I had the opportunity to tell her that more than once. Let all educators continue her legacy.
January 23 I lost a friend and a mentor. From the very first time we met Coach shared her wealth of experience in coaching and teaching with me. I think her favorite line was "let me share something with you." I will treasure all that you have shared with me and will do the same to others that cross my path. The will of the Lord is done and my you find peace in God's house. To Al and the rest of the family may God bless you in you time of sorrow and allow you to move on pass the void that has been left in all our lives. Be blessed.Coach Jackson

To the family of Brenda Speights, I am sorry for your loss. I know God has a bigger and better plan for Coach Speights. I will continue to pray for your family during this time. God bless you.
