Bulah Mae Stanton was born April 14, 1914 in Victory, Marion County, Texas to the parents of Pete Stanton and Ellen Weatherall. She professed a hope in Christ and joined Warlock Chapel, Mims, Texas at an early age. Later she moved to Hughes Springs and joined Hughes Chapel Missionary Baptist Church were she served as a faithful member for 70 plus years. In her latter years, she served as the Mother of the church. She united in holy matrimony to Frank Castle and in this union no children were born, but 14 children were united, two children and 12 step-children. Preceding her in death is her husband Frank Castle, her daughter Carrie Ola King, nine step-children; brothers Dude Gray, Richard Stanton, Clarence Jefferies, A.G. Stanton, Jim Stanton, Curly Stanton and Charlie Albert Stanton; sisters, Alberta Weatherall Corner, Ida Weatherall Gray, Willie K Stanton (Martin); one great-grandchild Jermaine Prince. Mourning her passing Celebrating her life Cherishing warm memories, she leaves her beloved daughter Lois Ann Bolden; three step children Orene Elder, L.J. Castle and John Castle; sister- in- law Johnie Mae Stanton; nine grand children; 19 great- grand children; ten great- great- grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews and a host of relatives and friends.

May God be with all of you at this time. Mrs. Castle was a very special lady. She was with me the night that my grandmother, Marie Putman died. They were very special friends. She had much love to give and did so freely. She will be missed.
