burle royal
HUGHES SPRINGS Services for Burle Lee Sug Royal will be 1:00 P.M., Thursday, January 19, 2012 at Hughes Chapel Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Love Chapel Cemetery under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home, Inc., of Hughes Springs. The family will receive visitors from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M., Wednesday, January 18, 2012 at the funeral home. Burle Lee Washington Royal was born May 20, 1919 in Naples, TX where she attended the public schools of the area and due to a strong religious upbringing accepted Jesus Christ as her personal savior at an early age. Her life became seasoned with love as she met Sam Royal and in 1944 united in holy matrimony. Their love and marriage bloomed and blossomed as they together labored in Gods vineyard. She united with the Hughes Chapel Baptist Church and was a life member, and known as the mother of the church. Her enthusiasm and zeal for service could only be matched by her love and commitment to Jesus Christ. She fulfilled this labor of love through the choir, the culinary committee, and any area of service she was asked to perform. Her family was her pride and joy as she endeavored to rear them with love for God and family and to treat everyone they encountered with respect. She was truly a people person, giving her time, energy, and culinary skills freely and cheerfully. On January 13, 2012, this gentle voice was silenced as she became precious in the sight of God. She leaves to cherish her memory and celebrate her homegoing; five sons Vernice Hill and his wife Mary, Lee. J. Royal and his wife Jo Ann, John Royal, Evans Royal and his wife Alex, and Edwin Lynn Royal; five grandchildren Kristi, Stacey, Jackie, Monica Michele and Thomas Earl Graham and wife Dorothy; nine great grandchildren; two special and caring cousins Oreathe Sasser and Elaine Rocquemore; the Hughes Chapel Church family; as well as other relatives and friends.
