Funeral services for Mr. Carl “Bubba” Wallace, Jr., age 62, of Daingerfield, Texas, will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 5, 2025, in the chapel of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home in Hughes Springs, with Bob McKellar officiating.Β Burial will follow at Bradfield Chapel Cemetery in Daingerfield, under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home in Hughes Springs.Β There will be a time of visitation with family and friends beginning one hour prior to service time Wednesday at the funeral home.
Carl Allen Wallace, Jr., lovingly known as “Bubba,” was born on March 18, 1962, in Lone Star, Texas, to Carl Allen Wallace, Sr. and Stephenie Sue Tallant Wallace. He passed away peacefully at his home in Diana, Texas, on Saturday, February 1, 2025, surrounded by his loving family.
Bubba proudly served his country in the United States Army and later spent many years as a dedicated truck driver. A true cowboy at heart, he had a passion for rodeo and was an avid bull rider. Known for his kind heart and fun-loving spirit, Bubba touched the lives of many with his warmth and generosity.
He was preceded in death by his father, Carl Allen Wallace, Sr.; his brother, Danny Wallace; and his special aunt, Betty Jane Craddock.
Bubba is survived by his devoted mother, Mrs. Sue Wallace; his sisters, Jackie McKellar and husband Bob, and Becky Wallace; his brother, Toby Wallace; his aunt, Opal Vaughn; the “daughter he never had”, niece, Stephanie Rudd Mata; as well as numerous other aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family members, and dear friends.
Bubbaβs legacy of kindness, courage, and love for life will be cherished forever by those who knew and loved him.
