Guestbook

  1. You are missed. I considered you the best father in law ever. Rest in peace Carliss. Be with Maxine. My prayers go out to all the Russell's. May you all be comforted by God's love at this very sad time.

  2. There's a place I've never seen beyond this world, but someday I will go there, and on that day when we all meet again, I know uncle Carliss will greet me with his big beautiful smile and say "welcome home". Until then, I will miss you uncle Carliss and cherish and treasure every memory. No one will ever fill your place in my heart. To my counsin's and family, I hope you can find peace in knowing he is in a more beautiful place in the arms of his Lord, together again with your mom and our grandma and grandpa. We send all our love and prayers to you! Carolyn and Gary

  3. No words can express how you are feeling but please know my prayers are with you. I am lifting up your family in prayer as I write this. May the Lord Bless You and Keep You.

  4. He was the best brother, father and uncle. He will be missed very much. However I will see his face again and the others that has gone befor and what a day that will be to once again see my loved ones

  5. To the Carliss Russell Family: Please accept my sincere condolences on your loss. I monitored Mr. Russell's vital signs every day, and had the pleasure to get to talk with him several times a week. I will miss talking and joking with him. He was such a kind, sweet man, and I know that he is with his wife now. He spoke often of being with her again. Again, I'm so very sorry for your loss.

  6. Carla and Jeffrey, I was saddened to hear of the recent loss of your father. You are surrounded by love and care, and will remain in our prayers.

  7. Am Uncle Carliss"s great nephew Glenn Russell grandson. He was such a great person. He and Aunt Maxine were very special to me. I got to do some hunting and fishing trips with Uncle and had so much fun being with him on those trips. I killed one of my biggest blacktail bucks back when I was about 14 years old and he was right there with me helping me gut that thing out:) it was always special times that I got to spend with him. I know he is in heaven now holding Aunt Maxine"s hand and being with the lord I know one day I will see him in heaven, I love ya Uncle till we meet again!!

  8. We Loved Bro. Russell very much and we will miss him greatly. He was a very special man. He ment a lot to us. Pat, Shannon, Lane and Hunter Crenshaw

  9. Dad, I love you and miss you so much! I know since mom went home to Jesus you have been lonely without her. I just can't get the accident out of my mind and what you must have felt or was thinking at the time, with that huge truck coming at you. I find comfort in knowing you are sitting at the feet of Jesus and holding mom's hand. I wouldn't wish you back, with all the pain and medical issues you had to deal with. But, I miss you soooo much! I will be there soon and what a glad reunion day that will be!!! Love you!
