Funeral services for Claudine Ford, 76, of Avinger, will be at 2 P.M. Monday, Jan. 25, at First Baptist Church in Avinger with the Rev. Bob Crowder officiating. Burial will be in Bear Creek Cemetery under direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home, Inc. of Hughes Springs. Visitation will be on Sunday from 4-6 p.m. at the funeral home. Mrs. Ford died Jan. 22, 2010 at a Longview hospital. She was born April 14, 1933 in Avinger to Mancle Milton and Vada Hodge. She was a Baptist and she also enjoyed quilting and crocheting. She is survived by: one daughter Pam Dunning of Keller, Texas; two sons and daughters-in-law Ronnie and Jackie Ford of Avinger and Jason and Robin Ford of Keller, Texas; three brothers and sisters-in-law Bobby and Melba Hodge of Linden; Ernest and Linda Hodge of White Oak and Tom Hodge of New Boston; two sisters and a brother-in-law : Reba Alsip of Irving and Edris and Doug Maddry of Shreveport; six grandchildren Nathan Dunning, Matthew Ford, Jeffery Ford, Tyler Ford, Ashlyn Ford, and Nolan Ford; six great grandchildren: Bryton Dunning, Ryker Dunning, Samantha Ford, Parker Ford, Sarah Ford and Joseph Ford and another great grandchild on the way. She was preceded in death by her husband Joseph Henry Ford.
