Services for Cliffie Earlene Chambers, 71, of Bivins will be Tuesday, January 2, 2007 at 2:00 P.M. at Reeder-Davis-Schindler Funeral Home Chapel. in Linden with burial in the Chambers Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. at the funeral home Monday, January 1, 2007. Mrs. Chambers died Friday, December 29 at her residence. She was born October 19, 1935. Survivors include five sons, Dennis Edward Chambers of Quinlan; Charles Wayne Chambers of Blossom; Ricky Joe Chambers of Arlington; Clifford Lee Chambers of Bivins; and Bryan Keith Chambers of Dallas; four daughters, Debbie Ann Smith of Bivins; Diane Waddell of Texas City; Donna Sue Saunders of Dallas; and Crystal Chambers King of Jefferson; two sisters, Mary Nichols of Canton and Brenda Scott of Midlothian; three brothers, Billy Wesson of Kaufman; Marshall Wesson of Canton; and Ronnie Wesson of Terrell. She is also survived by 25 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Eugene Chambers; one sister, Jean Shipman; two brothers, Kenneth Lawson and Loyd Lawson; and one grand daughter, Jennifer Saunders.

  1. I just wanted to say how sorry I was to hear about Cliffie's passing. Unfortunately I did not learn of it until Thursday. My late father John was a step-brother to Cliffie and I always found her to be a very kind lady. My mother, Lola Wesson would like to express her condolences as well … she said Cliffie was always a favorite with her and had been so kind when my sister and I were younger to babysit us.
