Graveside services for Clifton Slick Williams, 82, of Hughes Springs will be 2:00 P.M., Friday, March 2, 2012 at Hughes Springs Cemetery with Bro. Steven Hill officiating, under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home, Inc. The family will receive visitors from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. Thursday, March 1, 2012 at the funeral home. Clifton Williams was born December 17, 1929 and passed away February 28, 2012 in Hughes Springs. He was a member of the Missionary Baptist Church and he served in the US Army. Mr. Williams was retired from Lone Star Steel. He was preceded in death by his wife Geneva Williams. Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law Mary and Frank Brown and Pam and Rusty Greenlee, all of Hughes Springs; one son and daughter-in-law Cliff and Jennifer Williams, of Hughes Springs; three sisters La Nelle Simmons, Sondra McDaniel, and Mary Helen Adams, all of Hughes Springs; one brother Donald Williams, of Hughes Springs; grandchildren, April and Bo Greenlee, Brian and Holly Brown, Courtney and Chad Loper, Tara and Adam Roach, Tiffany and Michael Cato, and Trent Williams; great grandchildren Sylas, Grayson, Scarlett Roach, Tori and Brayden Cato, and C.J. Loper; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
