Deborah Louise Johnson

Ms. Johnson died on Monday, April 25, 2011 at Northwest Medical Center in Tuscon, Arizona. She was born on February 18, 1954 in Sweetwater, Texas, where she attended schools and played piano and saxophone. She received numerous local and state awards for her musical accomplishments. She attended Cisco Jr. College and Abilene Christian College, and later taught music to elementary students in Abilene. She was later a minister of music in Abilene, before moving to Arizona. She loved the Lord and celebrated Him in music. She is preceded in death by her parents: Howard and Faye Edwards Johnson. She leaves to cherish her memory: two brothers, Howard Johnson Jr. (wife Beverly) of Atlanta, Texas and Charles Johnson of Phoenix, Arizona; one sister, Priscilla Johnson Pullen of Shreveport, Louisiana; four aunts, Mattie Holloman and Florence Royal of Hughes, Springs Texas, Myra Hatten of Casa Grande, Arizona, Vallie Newsome of Austin, Texas; one uncle: Andy Edwards of Casa Grande, Arizona; and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
