Mrs. Doris will be missed. She was a wonderful lady with the most gentle kind spirit. She was so much more to Hughes Springs, The First Baptist Church, and God than just a teacher. We love you Mrs. Doris.

Mrs. Doris will be greatly missed. My son, Ricky, thought she was a sweet teacher. She had such a beautiful smile and geniune care for her students. God Bless you, her family, during this time of sorrow.
I am so sorry for your family's loss of this precious woman. Mrs. Abernathy was my teacher many years ago and I loved her dearly. She was always fair, perfectly groomed and had such a cute "twinkly" smile. She will be missed.
