Drake Erwin Bynum

Drake Erwin Bynum was born sleeping on September 18, 2026, and went peacefully into the arms of Jesus.

From the very beginning, Drake was deeply loved, eagerly awaited, and already such an important part of his family. Though his time on earth was far too brief, the love surrounding him was immeasurable. He was dreamed of, prayed for, and cherished long before the day he was born. His tiny life touched the hearts of so many, and he will forever be remembered as a precious son, grandson, nephew, and beloved member of his family.

Drake leaves behind a love that will never fade and a place in his family that can never be filled. His parents, Kyndal Fitts and Cade Bynum, will carry him with them always, holding close every hope, dream, and memory created while waiting for their little boy.

Drake’s memory will also be forever cherished by his grandparents, Brett Fitts, Crystal Lawless, Tracie and Ben Arnold, and Kyle and Britney Bynum; uncles, Trent Wert (Cat Gallant) and Chase Bynum (Linzy Callaway); great-grandparents, Greg and Sherrie Fitts, Susan Jester, Buddy Erwin, and Jeff and Colette Lawless; great-great-grandfather, Lonnie Hutsell; and great-aunts and great-uncles, Shayne Erwin, Crystal and Robert Covington, and Lance and Joanie Bynum; along with many other family members who loved Drake before they ever had the chance to hold him.

Waiting to welcome Drake in Heaven were his great-grandparents, Patricia Sheffield Erwin, Ricky and Marsha Bynum, Ed and Mary Lou Lawless, and his great-great-grandmother, Judy Hutsell.

Drake may have been small, but the love he brought into this world was anything but small. He was wanted beyond words, loved beyond measure, and will be missed for a lifetime.

A time of visitation with family and friends will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Monday, September 21, 2026, at Reeder-Davis Funeral Home in Linden. Drake will be laid to rest in a private graveside service.
