Louise Cole, born on September 18, 1948, was called home on November 2, 2024, at the age of 76. A beloved resident of Hughes Springs, Texas, she leaves behind a legacy of love, devotion, and cherished memories.

Louise is survived by her devoted husband, Billy R. Cole, of Hughes Springs, Texas; her loving sister, Mary Raines Robertson, of Lone Star, Texas; and her three sons, who were her pride and joy: Billy R. Cole, Jr. and wife Sally of Houston, Texas, J.L. Cole and wife Sherri of Longview, Texas, and Robert Cole and wife Dora of Hughes Springs.

Her warmth and kindness live on in her grandchildren, who brought joy to her life: David Cole and wife Sheena of Naples, Texas; Daniel Cole of Naples, Texas; Shelby Cole of Crosby, Texas; Chris Cole of Crosby, Texas; Leah Tudor of Marlin, Texas; Brandon and Mandy Cole of Lufkin, Texas; Josh and Gigi Cole of Lufkin, Texas; Randa and Jacob Hennig of Oklahoma; Kyle Cole of Houston, Texas; and Jessica Ward of Houston, Texas.

Louise was also blessed with great-grandchildren: Donald, Hailey, Hazel, Violet, Makayla, Christopher, Maliki, Landon, Brentlee, Cody, Kristen, Kylee, Kesley, Riley, Belle, and another Maliki, who brought smiles and laughter into her life. Her youngest great great-grandchild, Oaklynn, holds a special place as a new and cherished blessing.

Preceding Louise in death are her parents, Charlie Raines and Hazel Cockrell; her sister, Betty Allen; her son, Donald Cole; and her brothers, Earshel, Andy, John, and Tommy.

Louise was a devoted wife, nurturing mother, loving grandmother, and great-grandmother who touched the lives of everyone she met. She held a special place in her heart for her sister-in-law and deeply valued the time spent with friends and family. Camping trips and moments surrounded by loved ones were among her happiest memories. Louise’s fur babies were a constant source of companionship and joy.

Her faith was unwavering, and she cherished the fellowship of her church family at Turkey Creek. The bonds she formed there and the support she found were a source of strength for her and Billy throughout the years. Louise’s love for the Lord was evident, as she openly shared her faith and was a shining example of Christ’s love. Though her presence is deeply missed, those who knew her find comfort in knowing she is rejoicing with a new body, basking in the glory of her heavenly mansion, and watching over her loved ones.

Louise’s loving spirit will be carried forward by all who were blessed to know her, and her memory will be cherished until the joyous day when they reunite.
