Funeral services for Mrs. Eliett Conley Cox, 86, of Jefferson, Texas, will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, September 18, 2026, in the chapel of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home in Linden. There will be a time of visitation with family and friends beginning one hour prior to service time Friday at the funeral home

Eliett Marie Ramirez Conley Cox was born on March 6, 1940, in Telpaneca, Nicaragua, to Manuel and Natalia Ruiz Ramirez. She passed away on September 12, 2026, at her home in Jefferson, surrounded by her loving family.

Eliett had a joyful spirit and a love for music and dancing. She also enjoyed sewing and using her talents to create special things for her friends and family. Above all, she cherished her family and shared an especially deep love and affection for her grandchildren.

Mrs. Cox was preceded in death by her parents, Manuel and Natalia Ramirez; son, Joeseph “Joey” Conley; brother, Manuel Ramirez; aunt, Grace Gonzales.

She is survived by her loving husband, Mr. George Cox; five children: James R. Conley, Jr.; Alan L. Conley (Debra), Dena Cook (John), John M. Conley (Girlie), Daniel E. Conley (Cathy); 19 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great grandchildren; brother, Salvador Ramirez; Edward Ramirez.
