The Celebration of the Beginning of Life
Eva Mae Jackson was born January 5, 1934 to Gladys Toney and Joseph Warren in Bradley, Arkansas. She gained her wings on January 7, 2021. Eva was a devoted member of St. John Baptist Church in Kildare, TX. A faithful choir member and loved her church family. She was loved by all who knew her and she always encouraged everyone, and never had an unkind word. Eva's greatest pleasures were church worship, family and fishing. She was one of sixteen siblings.
She leaves one sister, Ollie; one brother, Richard (Mary), and the remainders preceded her in death.
Eva married Johnnie Curtis Jackson (Buddy) on October 9, 1948 and to this blessed union five children were born. Ella (James), Johnnie, Jr. (Barbara), Terry, Sharon and Deborah (Johnnie). Her precious memories are cherished by her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren (a five generation status), and numerous nieces, nephews, and adopted family that there are to many to name.
What a legacy to be such an "Amazing Lady" that brought a smile when the mentioning of her name.
Services for Mrs. Eva Jackson, 87, of Bivins, Texas will be 11:00 a.m., Saturday, January 16, 2021 in the chapel of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home in Linden. Burial to follow in Gallaway Cemetery under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home in Linden.
