Services for Eva Nell Lee, 69, of Linden will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday, October 13, 2024 at Caves Springs Missionary Baptist Church with Bro. Perry Hart officiating. Burial will follow at Caves Springs Cemetery under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home in Linden. There will be a time of visitation from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.

Eva Nell was born in Linden, Texas on January 25, 1955 and was a faithful member of Caves Springs Missionary Baptist Church. She served as the church pianist from the age of 12 and had a deep love for her family, especially her children and grandchildren. Later in life, while still raising her children, she pursued her passion for helping others and attended nursing school. She went on to work as a nurse for over 25 years, where her warmth and humor touched many lives. Eva Nell was known for her love of laughter and her kind spirit.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Neal Lee; her parents, Theodore Norris and Doris Wilson King; her sisters, Dora Whatley and Lanita Williams; and her brother-in-law, Marty Whatley.

Eva Nell is survived by her loving family: her son, Kevin Lee, and his wife, Michelle, of Texarkana; her daughter, Laura Lee of Linden; her grandchildren, Jaylen Lee, Chloe Lee, Dylan Perez, and Kayden Lee; and her great-grandchildren, Merci Lee, Josiah Lee, and Jaylen Lee, Jr. “JuJu.” She is also survived by her sister, Thelia Price, and her husband, Eddie; her brother, Teddy King, and his wife, Kayla; as well as many beloved nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
