Georgia Ann Pearson, 85 of Daingerfield, Tx, was born in Foreman AR to John D and Mabel R Madden on December 7, 1940. She passed away peacefully on April 16, 2026 surrounded by her  children, grandaughter and other close family.

Georgia was preceded in death by her beloved husband, James L. Pearson; her parents, John D. and Mable Madden; her brothers and sisters, J.D. Madden, Jean Boyd, Johnny Madden, Judy Lee, and Wanda Hughes; and her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Alvin and Mary Ella Pearson. She found comfort in the thought of being reunited with each of them.

She is lovingly remembered by her daughter, Cynthia “Cindy” Patman and husband Joey of Daingerfield; her son, James Pearson, Jr. of Houston; and her daughter, Vicki Saenz and husband Fernando of Grand Saline. She also leaves behind her cherished granddaughter, Christina Bigner of Houston; her brother, Jerry Madden and wife Mary Ann of Linden; her bonus great-grandsons, Ryker and Lawson Lackey of Hughes Springs; her loving dog, Jamie; and a host of nieces, nephews, and dear friends who will miss her deeply.

Georgias’ life was defined by love, strength, and quiet devotion.  She passed away leaving behind a legacy that will live on in every life she touched.  And she LOVED to dance.

Growing up as one of seven children, Georgia learned early the value of family, responsibility, and resilience. Even as a young girl, she naturally stepped into a nurturing role, lovingly caring for her younger brothers—a reflection of the selfless heart that would define her entire life.

Georgia attended Foreman High School, where her roots were firmly planted in the small-town values she carried with her always. In 1962, she married the love of her life, James L. Pearson.  They shared 42 years of marriage until his passing in 2004.

They made their home in Lone Star, Texas, where they raised their two children, James, Jr. and Cindy. Georgia was the heart of her home—a devoted wife, a loving mother, and an exceptional homemaker. She worked tirelessly, not only in the home but also throughout her life, including time spent working at Foreman High School and in other roles over the years. No matter where she worked, her true calling was always caring for others.

Family was everything to Georgia. She gave of herself freely and without hesitation, always putting the needs of those she loved before her own. Her greatest joy in later years was her granddaughter, Christina, who brought her endless pride and happiness.

Georgia had a rare and beautiful gift—she loved everyone she met, and in return, she was deeply loved by all who knew her. Her kindness, warmth, and genuine spirit made a lasting impression that will never be forgotten. She was a member at Turkey Creek Baptist Church.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the Chambers Hospice Care Team for the compassion, dignity, and care they provided. They were amazing!! She loved them all!

Georgia’s life was a testament to love in action—steady, faithful, and unconditional. Though she will be deeply missed, her legacy will continue to live on in the hearts of her family and all who were blessed to know her.
