Funeral services for Grace Marie Huggins, 66, of Seagoville, formerly of Hughes Springs, will be at 2 P.M., Saturday, March 12, at Hughes Chapel Baptist Church in Hughes Springs with the Rev. Maurice McMillion officiating. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Park in Hughes Springs under direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home, Inc. Visitation will be held Friday afternoon and evening and Saturday morning at the funeral home. Mrs. Huggins died Friday, March 4, at a Dallas area hospital. Grace Marie was born June 12, 1944 in Hughes Springs, Tx to Durie and Grace Body. Grace was an active member of Hughes Chapel Baptist Church and received Christ at an early age. She was a resident of Hughes Springs until the age of ten, when she moved to Los Angeles, Ca. Grace received a degree in Nursing in 1972 and retired after 30 years in her profession and worked in various stages in her career which included hospital, nursing home and the American Red Cross. She was preceded in death by her father and mother, Durie and Grace Body, sister Ruby and brothers James, Durie L., and Elicious. She leaves to cherish her memory: her devoted husband, Bill; her children, Patrice of (Shrevreport La), LaTonya of (Shreveport La), Nicarus (Claudia) of (Moreno Valley Ca), Delorse of (Long Beach Ca), Donna of (Compton Ca), and Will III (Michelle) of (Long Beach Ca); Grandchildren Janet (Kelvin), Jalen, Briana, Michael, Tyree, Brianna, Dominique, Tyree, William IV, Nicarus Jr., and Alexis. Great-Grand children Iyanna, Kaleb, McKynzie, and Nachelle. She also leaves to cherish her loving memory a host of nieces, nephews and friends. Friends may leave condolences at www.reeder-davis.com.

  2. grace marie can i go to the store with youI remember when grace was going to the store when we lived in the projects Aliso village in east LA California i asked grace Marie were was she going and she said im going to the store Kaye Kaye. I asked her if i can go with her and she was like no Kaye Kaye im in a rush i was like please can i go and she was like hurry Kaye Kaye cause im in a rush and i told her wait let me put my shoes on and she said Kaye Kaye im in a rush,and i told her if she did not wait for me i was goning to "kick her ass" i don't remember but thats what grace Marie told me for years and years over and over again and she told my mom and then i got my ass kicked.I was 4 years old at the time .
