On Tuesday, October 4, 2011 Harold David Foreman, 61, of Linden, left his earthly life and entered his Heavenly home, greeted by his son, Reece Foreman and his father, David Foreman. Harold was born October 10, 1949 in Linden to David and Betty Smith Foreman. He was a graduate of Linden Kildare High School, served in the U.S. Army, was a member of First Baptist Church. He loved spending time with his wife, his children and grandchildren. Harold is survived by his wife of 33 years, Vickie, of Linden; his mother, Betty Foreman of Linden; daughter and son-in-law, Jaimie and Robbie Whatley of Linden; two brothers, Glynn Foreman and Carroll Foreman of Linden; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Nancy and Buddy Williams of Atlanta and Sandra and Keith Cook of Linden; and two granddaughters, Makayla Sheyanne Whatley and Jordan Reece Whatley; plus numerous other family and friends. Funeral Services will be at 4:00 P.M., Friday, October 7, 2011 at First Baptist Church in Linden with Bros. Jackie Stanfield and Michael Townsend officiating. Interment will follow in Center Grove Cemetery under the direction of Reeder-Davis-Schindler Funeral Home, Inc. in Linden. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8:00 pm, Thursday at the funeral home.

Harold and I were good friends in school and although we did not get to visit much since then he will always remain in my heart as one of my dearest friends. Harold was a one of a kind person that most people never really understood. I am glad his suffering is over and may he rest in peace. (Sam)
