Funeral services for Harry Mac Sullivan, 73, of Avinger will be 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, November 12 at First Baptist Church of Avinger with Revs. Robert Crowder and Shawn Thrapp officiating. Burial will follow at Avinger Cemetery under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home, Inc. Mr. Sullivan was born November 28, 1934 in Mize, Mississippi and passed away Friday November 7 in a Longview hospital. He had worked as a District Manager for Frito Lay and was a Baptist. He is survived by his wife Betty Sullivan of Avinger; two sons and a daughter-in-law Larry and Sandy Clark of Marshall and Jerry Clark of Florida; two daughters and sons-in-law Cyndy and Ray Worthington of Cheyenne, WY and Vickie and Don Reese of Riverview, FL; nine grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; a brother and sister-in-law Ed and Martha Sullivan of Louisville, KY; a sister and brother-in-law Pat and Don Sumrall of Sumrall, Mississippi and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a sister Jane Fortenberry and a granddaughter Shannon Van Devender. He will lie in state Tuesday afternoon and family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 Tuesday evening at the funeral home.
