LINDEN Services for Hazel L. Beasley, 90, of Linden will be Saturday, December 8, 2007 in the chapel of Reeder-Davis-Schindler Funeral Home in Linden with Bro. Taylor Duncan officiating. Burial will be in Warren Springs Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday, December 7 from 6 to 8 PM at the funeral home. Mrs. Beasley was born January 2, 1917 in Linden to Robert Edward and Naoma Ball Lee. She passed away December 5, 2007 in a Texarkana hospital. She was retired from Red River Army Depot, was a Methodist, was a life long resident of Cass County and loved farming and gardening. She is survived by her companion, Carl Moore of Linden; a son and daughter-in-law, Marvin and Leigh Smith of Marietta; a daughter and son-in-law, Sybil and J.C. Burns of Linden; two brothers, Robert P. Lee and Everett Lee of Linden; a sister, Iris Lee of Linden; nine grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, and 15 great-great-grandchildren, all of whom were very special to her. Also, a number of nieces and nephews survive her. She was preceded in death by her parents and a granddaughter, Teresa Smith. Memorials may be made to Warren Springs Cemetery, % Everett Lee, 893 CR 1243, Linden, TX 75563.

  4. Ms. Hazel, was probably one of the most honest persons on this earth.. If she didn't want to talk to you, she would just tell you. She could talk for hours of days gone by, and I can say for myself, I always learned a thing or two, just by listening to her.She always kept me in stiches, laughing at the things she would say, and most of the time, she wasn't trying to be funny, she just was..she may be gone but never forgotten.Love and prayers to her family.
