Funeral services for Hazel Hall, 84, of Hughes Springs will be 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, July 27, at Veal Switch Missionary Baptist Church in Hughes Springs with Rev. Lynn Hitt and Rev. Wayne Norvell officiating. Burial will follow at Harris Chapel Cemetery in Hughes Springs under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home, Inc. Mrs. Hall was born November 23, 1926 in Hughes Springs and passed away Sunday, July 24 at her residence. She was a Homemaker. She is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law Rita and Donny Anderson and Linda and David Adams all of Hughes Springs; two sons and daughters-in-law Alan and Beth Hall and Wayne and Pam Hall all of Hughes Springs; a brother Johnnie, Jr. Pete Black of Leesburg; a sister Edna Williams of Hughes Springs; five grandchildren and five great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Rev. Curtis Hall; a grandson Caleb Hall; her mother Ora Bell Black Carter; two sisters Leora Smithson and twin sister Mazel Morris; and five brothers Walter E. "Bud" Black, Waple Black, Raymond Black, J.T. Black and Joe Black. Memorials may be made to Heart to Heart Hospice, 100 W. Hawkins Parkway Suite A, Longview, TX 75605.

LINDEN Mary Hazel Hall, 95, of Linden passed away Friday, February 15, 2008 in a Texarkana hospital. Funeral services will be 10:00 A.M., Monday, February 18, at First Baptist Church of Linden with Bro. Jackie Stanfield and Dr. Bryan Baggett, officiating. Burial will be in Center Grove Cemetery under the direction of Reeder-Davis-Schindler Funeral Home. Visitation will be Sunday from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M.. at the funeral home. Mrs. Hall was born July 17, 1912 in Cass County, Texas to Crawford Emmitt and Mattie Kathryn Fitts Surratt. She was a school cafeteria manager and a member of First Baptist Church of Linden. Her husband Lee Hall and a granddaughter, Kelli Leigh Hall preceded her in death. Survivors include three sons and daughters-in-law, Malvin and Mozelle Hall of Linden, Charlie and Gail Hall and Wallace and Pepper Hall, all of Marshall; one daughter and son-in-law, Relda and Wayne McMillon of Linden; one brother and three sisters-in-law, E.W. "Dude" and Dorothy Surratt of Hughes Springs, Louise Surratt of Omaha, and Delores Surratt of Linden. Also surviving are 11 grandchildren, Kent Hall, Greg Hall, Russ Hall, Chris Hall, Rod Hall, Stuart Hall, Stephan Hall, Ryan Hall, Angie Mitchell, Missy Snodgrass, and Stephanie Hall; 14 great-grandchildren, one great-great grandchild, several step-grandchildren, one step great-grandchild. and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
