Funeral services for Helen Frances Jeter Holliday, of Hughes Springs, will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, July 9, 2011 at Reeder-Davis Chapel in Hughes Springs, with family visitation starting at 10 a.m. Burial will follow at Hughes Springs Cemetery under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home, Inc. Mrs. Holliday was born October 22, 1925 in Hearne, Texas to Clayton Walter Jeter and Hazel Addie Brown, and passed away Tuesday, July 5 2011 at a Longview Hospice facility. Mrs. Holliday is survived by her son, Audie Vee Holliday, Jr. of Hughes Springs, daughter, Nancy Lou Nelson of Hallsville ; 6 grandchildren, and 14 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Audie Vee Doc Holliday, Sr. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made in memory of Mrs. Holliday to: Beacon Hospice at Margaret's House, 5016 Gilmer Rd, Longview TX 75604

  1. We were so saddened to hear of your mother's passing. She was such a sweet lady and we enjoyed talking to her whenever we went to "The Springs". She was such a joy to be around and will be missed sorely. Know that you and yours are in our prayers and thoughts.

  2. I will miss Grandmother dearly although i wasnt able to see her often or talk to her often she was always in my heart and thoughts. Kevin and I are also her grandchildren and she has 6 great great grandchildren between us and one great great grandchild. We loved her dearly and will miss her dearly as well.

  8. She will so be missed ,I just found out today,My Dad Weldon Baird worked with Mr. Holliday for many year's and Mrs.Holliday was the sweetist most kindest lady I have ever had the honor of knowing,She will truly be missed.My thought's and prayer's go out to her family.God bless you all
