Services for Helen Marie Duck, 72, will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday, August 6, 2017 at Reeder-Davis Chapel. Burial will follow at Friendship Cemetery under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home in Hughes Springs. There will be a time of visitation from 6:00 until 8:00 Saturday evening at the funeral home.
Ms. Duck was born March 11, 1945 and passed away August 3, 2017. She was preceded in death by her parents, Otis and Audie Duck; and two brothers, Leo and Curtis Duck.
She is survived by one sister, Ruby Lucas and husband Glen of Bedford, Texas; sisters-in-law, Martha Duck of Hughes Springs and Sue Duck of Oakwood, Texas; and numerous nieces, and nephews.

So sorry to hear this. Prayers going out to all the family. Know she will be missed, but we all know she is now with her parents and brothers at the feet of our Lord. She was a very devote christian. She has taught many children in Sunday School, and she loved that job. Hugs to Ruby and family. And to Martha. I know she was your shopping buddy.

I am sorry to hear of my childhood friend and classmate, Helen’s passing. We sat next to each other, in alphabetical order, many years in school. She was always very sweet and kind. I loved her.

We are so sorry to hear about our friends passing. Our prayers go out to the family since they have not only loss Helen but also a brother earlier this year.
