Funeral services for Henrietta Bell, 84, of Omaha, will be at 11:00 AM on Saturday, November 22nd at Omaha First Baptist Church with Rev. C.L. Moore officiating. Burial will be at Bell-Haven Cemetery in Omaha under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home, Inc. Mrs. Bell was born March 6, 1924 to Dan and Hattie Henderson and died on Tuesday, November 18, 2008, at an Omaha Nursing Center. Mrs. Bell graduated from Texas College in Tyler. She obtained her Masters degree from East Texas State University in Commerce. She was a teacher at Paul Pewitt ISD for over ten years. She is a lifetime member of The Teachers Retirement System. Henrietta accepted Christ at an early age, and was baptized at Omaha First Baptist Church in Omaha, TX. She exercised her gifts as a Sunday School Teacher and member of the choir to bless the lives of others. Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law Paul and Antoinette Bell of Katy, TX; one brother Ernest Henderson of Magnolia, AR; a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins, former students and friends. Mrs. Bell will lie in state on Friday, November 21st, afternoon and evening at the funeral home in Hughes Springs and the family will receive friends until 8 PM.
