Henry Allen Walls, age 79, passed away on August 23, 2023. He was born on September 12, 1943, to Claud L. and Mildred Walls in a close-knit Texan community. Henry’s legacy lives on through his cherished family, remarkable career, and lasting impact on those around him.
Henry was a devoted husband to Tammy Terry Walls, his loving wife of 41 years. Together, they weathered life’s challenges and celebrated its joys, creating a bond that will forever be remembered.
As a father, Henry’s presence was a guiding light in the lives of his children. He is survived by his son, Allen Dale Walls, and wife Lori of Loxahatchee, FL; his three daughters: Sharon Denise Walls of Lake Dallas, TX, Brittany Leigh Gresham and husband Danny of Hickory Creek, TX, and Chelsea Layne Farley and wife Taylor of Hickory Creek, TX. Henry’s influence on their lives will continue to inspire and shape them.
Henry was a beloved grandfather to Amanda Rater, Troyia Walls, Ethan Walls, Jamee Gresham, Zoë Gresham, Adaleigh Gresham, and Jayden Atkinson-Farley. His wisdom, stories, and laughter will be cherished by these grandchildren who brought immense joy to his life.
He had an everlasting bond with his four-legged companion, Jack.
Henry’s memory is also carried by his mother-in-law, Lyvonne Hightower; his brothers Ricky Walls and wife Kathy, Larry Walls and wife Meg; and his brother-in-law Tony Terry and wife Tammy. While he is no longer with us, his legacy remains strong through those he touched.
Henry was predeceased by his parents, Claud L. and Mildred Walls, his brother Charles Walls, and his sister-in-law Karon “Neecie” Terry. He now rests in peace, reunited with his loved ones who have gone before him.
A celebration of Henry’s life will be held on Saturday, September 2, 2023, at 2:00 pm at Reeder-Davis Funeral Home in Hughes Springs, Tx. Friends and family are invited to come together to honor the memory of a remarkable individual whose impact will forever resonate.
Henry Allen Walls will be remembered for his unwavering love, strong values, and the imprint he left on the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing him. His legacy lives on through the stories, memories, and love shared by those who were fortunate enough to have been a part of his life.
