LINDEN Funeral services for Howard Leroy Vaughn, 71, of Linden, will be at 1:00 P.M. Tuesday, June 23 at Reeder-Davis-Schindler Chapel in Linden with Bro. Jerry McKeller officiating. Burial will follow at Wells Chapel Cemetery near Linden. Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Monday at Reeder-Davis-Schindler Funeral Home in Linden. Mr. Vaughn died Friday, June 19, 2009 in a Shreveport hospital. He was born in Dallas, November 26, 1937, to the late Eddie and Beulah Vaughn. He was a member of Hickory Tree Baptist Church and he was self-employed. He is survived by his wife Donna Vaughn of Linden, children, Leroy Vaughn, Jr. of Dallas, Vicky Moss of Mesquite, Connie Sage of Quinlan, Bradley Drury of Atlanta, Charles and Brenda Drury of Linden, David and Kim Vaughn, of Kaufman, Walter Vaughn of Linden, Thomas Reeves and Lauren of Marshall, Sisters, Kay and Cody Diamond of Eldorado Springs, MO, Cecila Serignet, of Ft. Worth, TX, Betty Hall of Duncanville, TX, and Beulah Tanner of Duncanville, TX. Brothers, Jimmy and Heidi Vaughn of Charlotte, N.C., Tommy and Janet Vaughn of Kaufman, TX, Eddie Vaughn of Tulsa, OK, and Cecil Vaughn of Dallas, TX, 12 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his mother and father, one daughter, one grandson and one granddaughter.
