Funeral services for Hubert Henry (Kerley) Hajek, 47, of Hughes Springs, will at 2 P.M. Saturday, April 25, at Hughes Springs Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Tommie Estes officiating. Burial will follow at Iron Bluff Cemetery in Lone Star under direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home, Inc. of Hughes Springs. Mr. Hajek will lie in state Friday afternoon and evening at the funeral home, and the family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. He died Tuesday, April 21 at his residence. He was born August 5, 1961 in Brownwood. Mr. Hajek was a member of Missionary Baptist Church, he graduated from Daingerfield High School, and he loved to hunt, fish and camp. He served in the U.S. Marines. He is survived by three children Brandi Hajek and Justin Hajek, both of Harrison, Michigan , and Breahn Hajek of Frisco; his mother and step-father Emma and Bobby Morris of Hughes Springs; two brothers and sisters-in-law Johnnie and Mary Kerley of Waco and Edgar Lee and Linda Kerley of Daingerfield; four sisters Elizabeth and Johnny Carr of Rocky Branch, Patricia and Charlie Wiggins of Waco, Barbara and Darren Veale of Hughes Springs and Arlene and Robby Brister of Palestine and many nieces and nephews.
