Funeral services for Mrs. Jacquelene “Jackie” Bradshaw, age 81, of Jefferson, Texas, will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, January 22, 2025, at New Prospect Baptist Church.  Burial will follow at Mt. Zion Cemetery, under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home in Linden.  There will be a time of visitation with family and friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 21, 2025, at the funeral home.

Mrs. Bradshaw passed away peacefully on January 18, 2025, just days shy of her 82nd birthday. Born in Nashville, Tennessee on January 24, 1943, Jackie lived a life rooted in faith, love, and family.

She is lovingly remembered by her devoted husband, Joseph Ernest Bradshaw; her daughters, Carolyn Fairless, Dean Burkhalter, and Kay McConnell and her husband, Mike. She is also survived by her twin sister, who she was often mistaken for, Geraldine Bradshaw, her brother, Donald Thomas; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews, who all brought joy to her life.

She was preceded in death by her aunt and uncle, Hayward and Marion Thomas, who raised her and who she thought of as her parents.

Jackie was a member of New Prospect Baptist Church in Jefferson, Texas.  Her unwavering faith and kind spirit touched the lives of all who crossed her path.  She will be remembered for the warmth she shared so freely and the joy she brought to those around her. Jackie was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She loved to travel and loved playing games.  She never met a stranger.

Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.  May she rest in eternal peace.
