Services for James F. Duff "Nye", 61, of Linden, will be 2:00 p.m., Friday, January 19, 2007 at Reeder-Davis Chapel with Rev. Ron Dyess officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park, Hughes Springs, under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home, Inc. Mr. Duff died Friday, January 12, 2007 at a Longview hospital. He was born April 4, 1945 in Courtland, New York. He worked in maintenance. He was preceded in death by his wife, Lauretta Duff. He is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, John and Tammy Duff of Linden, TX; Edward and Brenda Lennon of Hughes Springs; two daughters and one son-in-law, Marcia and Richard Tucker of Hughes Springs, and Karen Parker of New York; five brothers, Johnny Duff of New York, Bobby Duff of New York, George Duff of New York, Donny Duff of Florida, and Eddie Rhodes of Louisiana; two sisters, Sharon Duff of New York, and Kathy Fink of New York; 20 grandchildren, and 29 great grandchildren. Viewing and visitation will be Thursday afternoon and evening at the funeral home and the family will receive friends after 6:00 p.m.
